Age: Appears to be about 17, but is actually only about a year old.
Race: Wind demon/Kaze youkai.
Family: She is the incarnation of Naraku, and the "sister" to Kanna and Hakudoushi, as well as a few of Naraku's other detachments. (For more information on these relationships, go to relations)
Love life: No serious love interest, though she does seem to have a fondness for Sesshoumaru.
Enemies: Naraku, Kouga, InuYasha (however, as the manga develops, Kagura and InuYasha become almost "allies")
Strengths: Uses her feather to fly. Has the ability to control the wind with her fan and can control corpses. She also has the ability to prevent InuYasha from forming his Wind Scar/Kaze no Kizu.
Weakness: Naraku holds her heart and could kill her at anytime.
Personality: Kagura is a little arrogant and has a temper.
She keeps mostly to herself because she trusts virtually no one. She is sarcastic, and sly, often learning about Naraku's plans so that she can pass the information on to his enemies (usually Sesshoumaru or InuYasha). She usually seems rough and uncaring, however she does seem to develop feeling for others.
Desires: To find someone to destroy Naraku so she can gain her freedom.

Final Moments: After crossing him for the last time, Naraku finally agrees to grant Kagura her freedom and gives her her heart. But immediately after he poisons her with his miasma, telling her that she will only have enough time to enjoy her freedom in horrendous pain.
Kagura is happy that she can feel her heart beat, but then realizes that she is dying. Sitting in a field of flowers she is upset that she will die alone. Suddenly Sesshoumaru appears. He tells her that he followed the scent of Naraku's miasma. She assumes he is dissapointed that she wasn't Naraku, but he tells her that he knew it was her. She is surprised, and he takes out the Tenseiga, but strangely it cannot save her. She smiles at him as InuYasha and friends appear. Kagura smiles, happy that Sesshoumaru was with her when she died, and then turns to dust, blowing away in the wind. InuYasha asks Sesshoumaru if she suffered, and he tells her that she was smiling. They look up at a single white feather drifting in the wind.
Kagura's last thoughts were "I am the wind. As free as the wind..."
